Kindred Spirit's - the best books about best friends.

It is international friendship day! Okay so granted - this was a day literally created and sponsered by the founder of hallmark to help make more mulaa. But whatever - celebrating friends is always cool. Sometimes we forget to thank the friends that are closest to us, because we take it for granted that they are always there. They just know that we love them.
Don't be that person. Today is the day to tell them! So I dedicate this post to (some) of the lovely lovely lovely people who have helped me get through this past year. I love you so much! Without your friendship I really don't know where I would be.

In alphabetical order:
Anna Cortez
Arnelle Obode
Alyssa Loss
Bridget Dou
Esther Lin
Jasmin Zombrano
Jen Chen
Melanie Harrison
Meredith Massey
Talia Klopfenstein
Vidushi Sharma

I am truly truly blessed.

I appreciate you each so very very much. So let's ditch the greedy money making card companies and celebrate this wonderfulness with The Best Books about Best Friends:

Anne of Green Gables - L.M. Maud Montgomery

The Adventures of Tom Sawyer - Mark Twain

Bridge to Terabithia - Katherine Paterson

Uprising - Margaret Peterson Haddix

Betsy, Tacy, and Tib - Maud Hart Lovelace

Henry and Beezus - Beverly Clearly

Jennifer, Hecate, Macbeth, William Mckinley and me, Elizabeth - E.L Konigsburg

Winnie the Pooh - A.A. Milne

Frog and Toad are Friends - Arnold Lobel

Henry Inc. - Keith Robertson

Holes - Louis Sachar

Enjoy, and have a happy friendship day!

P.S. Please excuse the long dry period on this blog. I have been rather busy attending summer camps and vacationing in the wifi-less mountains. As the school year draws closer, expect more ( and hopefully better ) content on the blog. Let the reading resume!
